Facebook??????????

i've had facebook for a little while but didnt use it and now that im trying to use it im very confused.... is it like myspace .. do uput layouts what does poke me and other things like that mean .... can anyone give me extensive detail as to how work facebook ohh and i recently graduated high school if i switch my newwork to college will my entire account change????????

facebook is a little different than myspace, but personally i like it a lot better because you meet ppl within your networks and its a lot less "stalkerish". unfortunatly, there are no layouts, but there are applications you can add that do different things. you can edit them in the toolbar on your homepage, left hand side. also, you dont have to switch networks, you can just add them. it is possible to be in more network than one. poking can mean anything, it depends on who pokes you. it can be flirty, annoying, or just plain creepy. luckily you can either poke back or hide it. one of my favorite things about facebook is that you can add millionsof photos and tag your friends. the embarrassing drunk ones are the most fun. enjoy!
Reply:yeah facebook can be kinda ocnfusing at first, for the layouts, you cant upload them like myspace, all you can do is drag the boxes around and put them in order how you like, uploading pictures is easy , just click "add new photos and go to the file where the pictures are and check off which ones you want, but there will a step by step guide to help you, you can add friends and look at there profile and pictures and write on there wall, and you can post notes also, and there is a news wall when you first sign in so that you can see any updates that any of your friends have made, there are also alot of fun applications that you can add to your profile, and you can put security on your profile so that only your friends can see your profile for your safety. Oh and by the way , if you change your network your profile wont change, it will stay exactly the same :) ..hope i helped! :)
Reply:ok, facebook does not have custom layouts. the poke me function just informs the other person that they were poked by you, so really its just a thing to say haha i poked u. your whole account will not change if you switch your network to college
